In July 2019, Brian Yamamoto coordinated a tour to France to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of where the 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Infantry Regiment bravely fought during WWII. Mike Izumi documented the tour.
The 12 day tour – which consisted of 120 participants - visited many historical sites throughout France including the 442nd Monument, Lost Battalion Monument, Tomosu Hirahara Square and the American Cemeteries at Epinal and Lorraine.
442nd Veteran Lawson Sakai participated and received honorary citizenship at different locations throughout the tour.
