Join us for Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution “Stop Repeating History” 2020 as we host a Mock Trial of “Fred Korematsu, on behalf of himself and 120,000 Japanese-Americans v. United States”.
Prior to the trial will be a showing of “Of Civil Wrongs and Rights: The Fred Korematsu Story”.
Following the trial will be a discussion with Prof. Margaret Russell, Santa Clara University School of Law and Karen Korematsu, Executive Director of The Korematsu Institute.
Attendees will receive a guest pass to visit JAMsj on Saturday January 25, 2020 and Sunday January 26, 2020.
On Sunday January 26 there will be showings of the full version of “Of Civil Wrongs and Rights: The Fred Korematsu Story”.
