JAMsj Barrack Dedication Ceremony: Honoring Eiko And Jimi Yamaichi

  • Japanese American Museum of San Jose 535 North 5th Street San Jose, CA, 95112 United States (map)

Please register by September 16 by filling out this form.

Jimi and Eiko Yamaichi were both lifelong community supporters and pillars of the San Jose Japantown neighborhood, Eiko as a longtime members of the Buddhist Women’s Association and Jimi as co-founder of the Japanese American Museum of San Jose, to name just a few of their contributions. In honor of their legacy of dedication to the Japantown community and to JAMsj, we will be dedicating our Barrack exhibit to both of them, in partnership with the Yamaichi Family.

You are warmly invited to join us as we dedicate our Barrack exhibit to Jimi and Eiko Yamaichi. There will be a short program featuring speakers, notably Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, an early support of JAMsj who worked directly with Jimi, followed by a reception and open Gallery.

Please register by filling out this form by Monday, September 16 to attend. Please note that registration is not required but encouraged so that we have an accurate headcount and can prepare accordingly.
