As our Japantown community quietly awaits reconnection, we reflect on the importance of gathering and preserving the beauty and stories of our Japanese American history. On May 8th, 2020, JAMsj will be holding its first ever Vintage Auction online as a way to reconnect with our community, and ask, if you are able, to support the museum in a big way. Each of these auction items carries a story of our past and reminds us of the strength of those who came before us. Youʻll find antiques, kimono attire, framed prints, books and media, and some specialty and rare items that JAMsj is known for. This amazing collection of vintage treasures have sparked laughter and awe within our auction team as we uncovered the history, origins and uses. We hope that these beautiful items do the same for you. Bid and bid to win.
