Each year, JAMsj celebrates Hinamatsuri with a craft day and an exhibition of Hina dolls and Hina sets. These doll sets are often passed down in the family to the eldest daughter.
While JAMsj currently is closed due to the pandemic, some of the JAMsj sets, in addition to private collections, are on loan for your viewing in San Jose Japantown!
The doll exhibits can be viewed at the following Japantown businesses:
Headliners (window display)
210 Jackson Street
Kogura Company (in-store display)
231 Jackson Street
Nikkei Traditions - San Jose (Hina Ningyo in-store display only)
219 Jackson Street
Roy’s Station Coffee and Tea (window display)
197 Jackson Street
Shigematsu Insurance (window display)

We ask that you please be respectful when viewing these dolls since these locations are working businesses. Each location keeps individual hours of operation.
Maintain good and safe practices of wearing a face mask and social distancing while viewing the dolls.
