The Japanese American Museum of San Jose is honored to host a Flag Signing event in the JAMsj parking lot.
Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Johnny Cepeda Gogo obtained a WWII era, 48-star, American flag with the goal of inviting ALL Japanese American incarceration camp internees to sign the flag. Judge Gogo has graciously offered to donate the signed flag to the Japanese American Museum of San Jose on Fred Korematsu Day on January 30, 2022.
Judge Gogo will bring the flag to JAMsj on Saturday October 2, 2021. Japanese American incarceration camp internees are invited to register for the event.
This event will follow all Covid-19 requirements: please wear face coverings/masks; physical distancing; etc. Spaces are limited.
