Due to limited docent availability, priority will be given to schools.

Group Tour Admission

Adult / Chaperone (Age 18 - 64) : $15 per person

Student : $10 per person

Educator : $10 per person

Senior (Age 65+): $10

Youth (Age 6+)* : $10

Children (Age 5 and under)* : $0

Current Museum Members : $8

Title One Schools may apply to waive tour fees
Please pick “Title One School” on the request form

*Our group tours are generally designed for an audience of 4th grade and older and are not recommended for groups of children younger than 8 years old.

Small group tour | up to 12 visitors

  • 1 Docent-guided Museum tour

  • Thursday to Sunday, 10 AM to 12 PM (2 Hours) include Q&A session with Docent and Bathroom Break

Medium Group Tour | Up to 24 visitors

  • Available 4 weeks in advance

  • 2 Docents-guided Museum tour

  • Divide your group into two. Each group will be assigned one docent.

  • Thursday to Sunday, 10 AM to 12 PM (2 Hours) include Q&A session with Docent and Bathroom Break

Large group Tour | Up to 36 visitors

  • Available 4 weeks in advance

  • 3 Docents-guided Museum tour

  • Divide your group into three. Each group will be assigned one docent.

  • Thursday to Sunday, 10 AM to 12 PM (2 Hours) include Q&A session with Docent and Bathroom Break

  • Please pick your tour request date from our available calendar (Click the bottom below)

  • Please note that submitting the JAMsj Group Tour Request does not confirm nor guarantee your tour.

Custom group tour | more than 37 visitors

Please note: A $60 setup fee applies in addition to our standard Tour Admission.

  • Must be requested at minimum of 6 weeks in advance

  • 3 Docent-guided Museum tour and Japanese American History Presentation

  • The group will be divided into two.
    The first group will begin with a docent-guided museum tour. The second group will attend a history presentation. Midway through the tour, the groups will switch.

*This arrangement is made to accommodate the capacity of the museum galleries and to provide the best listening environment for visitors. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Monday to Wednesday, 10AM to 5PM
    Thursday to Sunday, 10 AM to 12 PM

  • 2 Hours Tour and Presentation, include Q&A session and Bathroom Break

  • Please prepare first and secondly request date

Custom Museum Experience

Tailor your museum experience with a custom activities and tours, designed to focus on your group’s specific request!

Please note: A $60 setup fee applies in addition to our standard Tour Admission.

  • Available at least 6 weeks in advance

  • You can make a reservation outside of our standard group tour hours (Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 12pm).

  • Customize the length of your tour to fit your schedule.

  • Mix and match the activities to create your ideal tour.
