JAPANESE AMERICAN MUSEUM OF SAN JOSE CURRENTLY OPEN ON WEEKENDS FROM 12:00PM - 4:00PM

Hello, Konnichi wa, Aloha, Bonjour, Hola, Annyeonghaseyo, Ciao…

These are just some of the ways that I’m able to greet people back to the Japanese American Museum of San Jose. Yes, currently the museum is open on the weekends from 12-4pm but our docents will not be available until a later date. We’ll be opening more days and hours as the Covid restrictions are lifted. Currently all guests and volunteers are required to wear masks while inside the museum, which is following all of the Health Dept. Covid protocols.

Please be sure to stop by and check out our newest Rotating Exhibit called, con.Text by Bryan Ida where he has drawn life size portraits using text. This exhibit will be leaving in August, so please plan your visit soon.

My hope is that we’ll be fully open toward the end of June. Please sign up for the eNews on our website: https://www.jamsj.org/enews. You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get the latest news. Also check out our Blog by using the link on our website https://www.jamsj.org/blog.
